Hello fellow wanderers and welcome!  This (hopefully) will be a good way to keep friends and family updated on the adventures that are very quickly approaching! I anticipate this blog will have many pictures and an excesive amount of exclamation marks (!).  We may even include some of our travel planning here (the 'we' being Alison and I) to give some tips for any of you who want to plan a big trip.  So far this blog has been really helpful (thanks Jen!) and maybe ours can also help out those of you who have itchy feet.


OK backing up.  For those of you who do not yet know, I have taken a 6 month leave of absence from my job that begins mid February 2011 and Alison and I will be traveling around for 4 months, then spending July and August taking in all that summer in Canada has to offer!! On the list for traveling include: India, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, and a quick stop in Austria.
